    The worry for Thaisha's son is still present, a full-body tenseness that will never go away. It's muted now, however - hidden beneath the awful thrum and pulse of her own blood, rushing and gushing through her skull like river waves, like the ocean crashing violently against a cold and lonely shore.

    Yeah. It's cold. Instead of being warm, her blood feels cold.

    What the fuck is that about? What was in that spell glyph that she stepped on - the one that glowed thin crimson beneath the heel of her boot, springing up to envelope her body half a heartbeat before Julien pulled her free?

    And why does she want more blood? Why can't she feel anything but thirst?

    Thaisha is afflicted with a curse glyph in the depths of Tannesar.
    Vaelus, as it turns out, is very willing to help her through it.

    Vaelus certainly doesn't trust her. That much is clear. She keeps staring coolly at Aranessa - that blank, calm, appraising gaze that only ever comes from a prospective enemy. She does not bother to hide her dislike, so Aranessa shows her the bare minimum of courtly politeness, and nothing more. Nothing else will be asked for, and nothing else is owed. Just because they're traveling together doesn't mean they have to like one another. Just because they're traveling together doesn't mean they have to click. 

    Thaisha does not seem to share these reservations. Thaisha, for some incomprehensible reason - perhaps something related to the paladin's strong thighs and smug demeanour and terrifying prowess with a whip - has decided to sleep with the nun. Not once, not twice, but thrice, at least as far as Aranessa knows. Two times could be a mistake, but three times puts the whole business pretty firmly into fling territory, for sure. 

    Gods, what the hell is she doing? 

    Aranessa can't stop thinking about her very capable, very attractive traveling companions.
    Surely if she just ignores the problem, she'll get over it.

    They've been fleeing, and hiding, and seeking, so sex hasn't exactly been the highest priority. But Thaisha would be lying through her teeth if she tried to say she's not enjoying everything about the sight before her. The paladin's black-chained veil ripples with light. Its links are intricately forged with some metal she doesn't quite recognize offhand, which definitely says something about its age.

    The water is bubbling, but where soap doesn't float it's quite transparent, and neither she nor Vaelus were particularly shy about stripping down to get in here. So when she takes a long second to trace her gaze up and down the other woman's body, appraising, there's certainly a lot of everything to see. 

    Fuck. She's hot. And their stay with Einfasen is tenuous at best. Not guaranteed. So if Thaisha does want to do something about that fact...

    Thaisha and Vaelus solidify their alliance.
