Jack needs to use his department's allotment of the FBI professional development budget, so he decides to send Will Graham and Beverly Katz to a popular leadership development conference. Will is less than thrilled with the prospect of three days of cheerful crowds, mandatory networking, and meaningless self-help babble, but he can't see a way out.
When one of the conference speakers takes a liking to him, Will finds his time at the conference taking a strange turn.
