The phrase rings in Marty’s brain, ricocheting again the ridges and valleys of his grey matter until it finds its place. It settles nice, a quote that landed in oddly familiar and recognizable territory, a somehow impossible notation coming from Rust.
He peels his eyes away from the road for the first time in twenty minutes, “Did you just quote Syd Barret?”-------------------
Marty Hart likes Pink Floyd. He just so happens to listen to a lot of music and, somehow, Rust is human enough to maybe even hint to listening to something. Anything.
