“Interesting?” Bokuto repeats excitedly. If it were possible for his ears to perk up like a dog, they would have because Kuroo now has all of his attention.
“Oh yes,” Kuroo says as he turns to reach behind him, eyes still glued to yours, and pulls back holding a brown leather journal. You feel the color drain from your face as you stare at it and the smirk on Kuroo’s face deepens. “I found this.”
“A notebook?” Bokuto asks, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
“A journal. To be more specific,” Kuroo finally breaks eye contact with you to cast Bokuto an amused look, “(y/n)’s journal.”____

You moved in with Kuroo about 3 months ago. You've become friends, Kuroo being so easy to get along with, although a bit chaotic at times, especially when his best friend was over, which was more often than not. You didn't mind, befriending him as well because like Kuroo, Bokuto was easy to get along with, funny and an all around good time. The more time you spent with them, the more you began to pay attention to things that you only noticed before briefly in passing. You began to listen to the things they said to each other, and how they interacted. The more you observed the more you realized that their behavior with each other seemed quite…sus.
