Leon looked down at Bryan, clearly confused by his outburst. Maybe a little endeared. “Stop what?”
“Like, I don’t know, grunting and groaning all in my face. Or whatever.” Bryan doubled down, suddenly red in the face. If anyone asked, at least he could blame it on all the running and climbing. It definitely wasn’t the rookie cop’s fault… Nope, definitely not.
aka Bryan takes shelter at RPD on his way to the hospital, runs into Leon, and asks him to help him with the delivery. And so naturally, they both might catch feelings for each other along the way.

Bryan nearly gives Leon a heart attack when he lifts his shirt and shows a haphazardly stuffed handgun that's sticking out of the waistband of his jeans.
“Don't put that there,” Leon says hurriedly, willing his heart to calm down. He keeps imagining the horror of it going off and blowing clean through Bryan's femur. “And - hey, wait. That's a standard glock that's issued to all American officers. Did you steal that?”
Bryan at least has the decency to blush in embarrassment as he hastily shoves the hem of his shirt back down.

Or where Leon hears Bryan’s call for help over the radio and is willing to risk everything to find that guy because he made a promise — and everyone knows that promises made to strangers over a radio connection during a near-zombie apocalypse are pretty damn serious.
