Dr. Jack Abbot talks to his therapist after Dr. Robby Robinavitch leaves the Pitt on his suicidal motorcycle sabbatical. Over weeks of sessions, Jack works through his complicated feelings and fears -- only to discover that Robby is not just his friend.
I wanted to imagine what Jack's sessions with his therapist sounded like, and this is how I thought they might go. Enjoy!

Robby relaxes, and he carries on stirring
Jack interrupts the quiet once more with the other question that's been on the tip of his tongue.
"Why haven't you left?"
Robby freezes. He doesn't turn around, doesn't look at Jack, like it's easier to be honest this way.
"Because I think if I go, I won't come back."
