Summary
“Well?” Choso probed, backing Yuuji into his room, domineering over him as Yuuji cowered back. His legs hit his bed, and he nearly fell back onto it, straining to stay standing.
“I, I was just…” He couldn’t find the words, fumbling with an explanation. Choso’s eyes narrowed, his straight brows furrowing seriously as his face pinched handsomely. “I thought you were in band practice today…”
This was not the correct answer. Choso’s hand came up and grabbed his face, observing the red bruised on his lips.
“You let him kiss you?” He seethed angrily, tilting Yuuji’s head this way and that. His eyes honed in on Yuuji’s neck, and his eyes widened.
“He gave you a fucking hickey?!” He shouted, outraged. Yuuji’s pulse spiked; he certainly didn’t remember that, he must not have been paying attention.
“What else did you two do!?” He demanded, shaking Yuuji around by the face, making the younger boy feel a little breathless. “Did you let him fuck you?” He gritted his teeth so hard, Yuuji could hear them creaking. He shoved Yuuji back on the bed, letting him bounce in his pillows and stuffies.

“You’re a mermaid!” Yuuji gasps out. “Or— Merman? You have a tail! And fin-ears! Oh my god!”
“Shhhhh!” the man — merman? — scolds, clasping a hand over Yuuji’s mouth. “Quiet, please. Don’t know… who is around.”
Yuuji stares up at the merman with eyes so wide he fears they may pop clean out of his skull. He nods his head robotically, and the merman hesitantly drops his hand.
“You’re a merman,” Yuuji whispers.
The merman chuckles at that, entire face brightening with it, and it’s so unexpected that Yuuji can only laugh along with him.
“Yes,” the man says. “I’m… merman. My name… Yuuta.”
Yuuji nods dumbly. “Yuuta… I’m Yuuji.”
Okay. A merman named Yuuta. Cool. Coolcoolcool.
