Mitya knew the Scarf's touches like the back of his hand: when it was persistent, cruel, or even gentle when necessary. But he'd never seen the Scarf needy before. Its touch truly felt like it was selfish. But Mitya allowed it for some reason. Mitya was still a human, and biology worked like that: his body craved something simple and human, especially after hours of wrestling with complicated papers.

    “Good idea”, Mitya mumbles, for once not putting up an argument.

    As he gets to his feet, he stumbles, head spinning. The very next moment, Valeriy is there, not even asking before lacing one arm behind his back and the other under his knees, hoisting him into the air in a bridal carry.

    Maybe, if Mitya was less out of it, he’d be embarrassed by this.

    A loud ringing filled his ears as he slowly fell into unconsciousness. The last thing Mitya heard was Valeriy’s loud, uncharacteristically panicked voice calling his name, sounding far away despite having just been next to him.

    “Mitya… Mitya!”

    Mitya released a shaky breath in a final attempt at a laugh.

    Ah… I’ve never heard you call me anything but ‘Mr. Dmitri,’ Valeriy…

    Then darkness enveloped him fully, leaving him unresponsive.

    Or: Bodyguard Valeriy takes it upon himself to ensure Mitya's happiness and comfort until his memories return after an accident leaves the ever adored yet severely overworked idol a temporary amnesiac.

    After all... he'd do anything to protect the man he's secretly grown to harbor feelings for.
