Summary
Beneath the starlit skies of Stardew Valley, where tranquility once reigned supreme, a chilling discovery shatters the night's silence. The town cemetery, long a place of peaceful rest, now harbors a grim secret unearthed in the witching hours.
At first glance, it appears to be a tragic accident - a solitary soul claimed by misfortune. But as dawn breaks over Pelican Town, so too does the façade of rural bliss. What begins as a somber gathering of townsfolk soon unravels into a web of conspiracy, each thread tugging at the carefully constructed lives of the valley's inhabitants.By day, Stardew Valley remains a picturesque haven, its fields golden and rivers clear. Yet as shadows lengthen and the sun dips below the horizon, a different world emerges. Long-buried secrets claw their way to the surface, and the darkness that settles over Pelican Town brings with it whispers of truths better left unspoken.
In this idyllic community where everyone knows their neighbor, a single death threatens to expose the lies, loves, and loyalties that simmer beneath the surface. As suspicion grows and alliances shift, one question burns in every mind: In a town this small, can anyone truly be innocent?

Summary
For the better part of a year, Lydia has been the faithful housecarl of Garakh Saconius, the (secretly vampiric) Dragonborn, on her quest to defeat Alduin. After saving the world, the temporary truce between the rebel Stormcloaks and Imperial Legion is coming apart, while the Dragonborn herself is busy with things in Solstheim, having left Lydia to fend for herself in Whiterun. With the war coming to her home's doorstep and her charge nowhere to be found, Lydia will have many difficult decisions to make, from whether or not to hold onto the hope that her feelings for her charge could bear fruit, to which side of the conflict to support.
War is not coming, it has arrived, and it will not wait for anyone to get their affairs in order.
