Summary
There was no precedent for what they'd done tonight. It was one thing to pick a side, they had both done it and wound up across the fence from one another millennia ago... but they'd spent those millennia quietly carving out something else, something that was theirs alone, but it had always been exactly that. Theirs. Only now they'd said the quiet part out loud. Screamed it, more like. They were well and truly divorced from their former alliances and all they had now was each other. All he had was Aziraphale.
And that was what he’d wanted, but he hadn’t expected it to be so terrifying.

After the apocalypse that wasn’t, an angel and a demon figure a few things out. A canon-divergent, soft feels fix-it fic. -

Summary
“A weapon is not the same as a spouse, even if that weapon is powerful.” The words had barely left Wei Wuxian’s lips when he found himself slammed against the trunk of the nearest tree, Lan Wangji’s hands gripping painfully tight around his shoulders, practically lifting him from the ground.
“Wei Ying is not a weapon!” Lan Wangji bit out.
Wei Wuxian had said many things that had angered the illustrious Second Jade in the past. When he had been in Cloud Recesses as a youth, it had been Wei Wuxian’s favorite hobby. But he realized had never managed to truly enrage Lan Wangji with anything he had said until this moment.
