Summary
The prompt: Spock purposefully allows himself to be injured during an away mission so he doesn't have to make up an excuse to get out of, or worse yet, still be forced to attend the Enterprise holiday party. Jim stays with him in medbay to keep him company.

Summary
Jim ends up in an alternate universe where Vulcan never experienced Surak's reforms and meets an alternate version of Spock-one who immediately decides that Jim belongs to him. The first chapter appeared in my one-shots collection but I've decided to make this a standalone.
Warning: Jim is definitely into it, but I still think it deserves the dub-con label!
