Deciding to post the first chapter of this original story! Focused around my original characters/species, I've written a decent chunk but not sure about posting it all. Let me know if you'd like the next bit?
The original species here are called Seersuns. They're humanoids with head/ear and back wings, horns, and misty could-like tails which turn whip-like when adrenaline fires. They come in all sizes and rainbow colours. See end notes for links to character art and species notes.

With almost no chance of escape, Arcee being injured, and increasingly desperate odds, Jack rushes to their aid with any assistance he can give. However, one thing leads to another, and tragedy strikes...

Five signals.
Arcee wants to scream. She wants to shoot Megatron and his army of imbeciles in their faces until there is nothing left of them to shoot. She wants to hit the walls and drive far, far too fast and she wants to cry but as her hand grips tighter on the back of the co-pilots chair and Jack looks up at her with concern she instead schools her features into an expression she hopes is ‘reassuring’ but probably comes across as ‘pained’ and holds herself together.

Arcee, standing behind her all this time, leaned down and peeked at her message, cerulean optics skimming over the words. Then she straightened and placed her servos on her hipplates, releasing a small chuckle. "I cannot believe you just dad-trapped him."
There followed loud exclamations from both Autobots and humans, all while Miko continued to look impishly satisfied.
Jack nearly tumbled forward as he grabbed the girl's phone from her grasp and read the message for himself to confirm what Arcee was saying.
Miko: Hey OP! Can you come to base pretty please with cherry on top? Thanks dad!
OP: I am on my way.
Jack slowly lowered her phone in disbelief. "I cannot believe you called him dad just so you could make him a flower crown."

Kakashi, injured and exhausted after a dangerous mission, just wants to get back home and sleep for a week. He’s barely managed to walk back to Konoha when his body decides to be a total douchebag and completely runs out of energy, forcing him to find the nearest safe place before he passes out on the road.
Naruto, up until that moment sleeping soundly in his bed, gets the socks scared off of him three times: when some weirdo knocks on his door in the middle of the night, when that weirdo turns out to be his sensei, and when Kakashi then pretty much collapses into his apartment.
It’s a very stressful night.
