Holy smokes. I only watched the fallout tv series and some things definitely slip through the cracks when it comes to what I know of the universe, but this author is incredibly attentive to the audience’s understanding of what is going on and that’s a very difficult balance to keep so wonderful job on their part!
I like Verity and the Reader as individual characters.
Verity is soooo cheeky and every time he doesn’t voice something, like you know, being able to eat food or feel pain, I just holler at the screen. He’s so “lie of omission” based and it’s infuriating and beautiful.
Reader is so fun to read as well, because her practicality fights against her personal feelings all the time in a way that’s engaging as a reader. She also always doubles down on shit and it cracks me up every time.
It’s a breath of fresh air to see someone enjoy crossovers as wholeheartedly at this, and I’ll definitely keep tuning in <33 -
