Summary
When Will opens Hannibal's letter, it wakes something primal locked inside of him. He doesn't understand it, but what he does know is that he has to go to Baltimore hospital for the criminally insane, and he has to go now.
Dear Will. He could still see the words, written in the curly elegance of Hannibal's hand, burning behind his eyelids. He breathed deeply through his nose to try and calm the unsteady flutter of his heart. A deep breath. One that clawed at his nose, one that penetrated his nostrils like a liquid, a smothering sting he felt intruding behind his eyes.
One. Deep. Breath.
And then it took him.

Summary
Over 1,000 years ago, the Great War between Vampires and Lycans began. Many are ignorant of how it started, uncertain who to believe now that reading into the past is forbidden.
But most believe it all started with the birth of Derek Hale, the first Lycan, a werewolf capable of retaining his human form. Spared by King Jon as a baby, he is beaten and belittled by Gerard, the most ruthless of the Vampire Coven's Elders. The one comfort Derek finds in his life is Prince Stiles, son of King Jon.
Stiles and Derek grow up together—two lonely children seeking companionship which slowly evolves into love. Their love is forbidden, separated not only by their status as royal and slave, but as Vampire and Lycan.
When the lovers make a plan to escape—to be together in a land far away from rules and regulations—fate has other plans.

Summary
Will knew what had happened. He knew exactly how Abigail's ear had gotten into him, who had shoved it down his throat. He also knew that trying to indicate Hannibal as a killer again was futile. Jack seemed to want to believe him, going by the conversation in the BSHCI's visitor hall, but Jack needed something concrete, evidence. Hannibal had eluded capture for so long, he wasn't going to start leaving fingerprints or hairs at his crime scenes now.
No, Will was going to deal with Hannibal Lecter on his own terms. The man deserved to reap what he'd so carefully sowed, didn't he? He deserved to experience what he'd coaxed forth from the bottom of Will's soul, to see the result of his machinations.
---
After his release from the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, Will doesn't return to work for the FBI.
