    Cardinal Copia leaves Miasma, the city where he spent almost his entire life educating himself to become a part of Devil Church. Father Nihil sends him to Meliora, an abbey where current Papa, Emeritus III, rules. However, he is not welcomed in particularly warm way. For some strange reason, Papa does not like him. Their rivalry begins, competitions to the extent they eventually become friends. But Cardinal struggles to find out what exactly is troubling Papa.

    “Ask me nicely for help.” The man demanded, his calm smile leering up at Yuuji eerily. The boy’s nostrils flared; all of the emotions he’d been going through all night flared up at once, and he felt like he could cry from how overwhelming it all was.

    Yuuji mumbled a curse under his breath, resolving to plan B: Snatch his phone off the couch and go to his bedroom for the rest of the night.

    “What?” Suguru asked next, not hearing him. The man wasn’t meant to, but the fact that he was actually expecting Yuuji to ask for his help after putting him through such a terrible night made the fire in his stomach roar.

    He swallowed and looked up to glare the man straight in the eye.

    “Fuck. You.”

    That expression didn’t change, at least, not in the split second Yuuji had still been staring at the man’s face before he was yanked down over a pair of thick thighs.

    “I dunno. I… I don’t want Papa to be mad.”

    “He’s not going to be mad,” Sukuna reassures him. “How’s he going to find out unless you tell him? Plus, I’m the one who asked, so I’d be getting in just as much trouble if I told him, too.”
