Summary
Kakashi knows exactly just how powerful he is and the answer is not much. He may be smarter than an average nin, stronger and faster than the looked-upon jounin, strapped with skills and jutsus of all kinds, and equipped with a doujutsu to rival his notoriety, but in the end he’s just a normal ninja. Compared to his sensei, the kages, sannin, and even to his own students, he is far weaker than them.
The only difference between him and an average nin is that he lived longer with brutal practicality and hard work. And even in that, Gai had beaten him in spades.
So it was most surprising, that out of all his peers, he lived the longest.
Was it luck?
Kakashi isn’t sure?
But when he finally dies, only to find to himself be a spirit to his younger self, well, who’s a better mentor than one that has experienced it all before.

Kronos was a sore loser.
When most people lost a fight, they sulked for a bit, maybe burst into golden monster dust if you were particularly lucky, or just started trying to kill you again if you weren’t.
They did not, in Percy’s (quite considerable, he likes to think) experience, start glowing so brightly that it felt like your retinas would never recover before knocking you sound unconscious.
OR
(When you're thrown back in time after defeating Kronos only to have to defeat Kronos for the second time. Percy's life is kind of a cosmic joke.)

If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.
If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.
