Summary
How does a slave from the stables end up being shipped off to a neighboring country as a gift to warm the bed of the crown prince? Well, Hua Cheng wasn't actually in the room at the time but, judging by everything he's put together and what Yin Yu has told him, it goes something like this.
1 The King of Yong’an wants to conquer Xianle.
2 The King doesn't want Xianle to know that yet so that he can take them by surprise.
3 To bring this about the King wants a spy deep enough in Xianle’s royal court that they can learn the royal family’s most intimate and military secrets, and who could be better positioned to do that than a concubine?
So 4 the King of Yong’an tells his inner counsel that the first step in his invasion plan is to give the crown prince a concubine.
Or Hua Cheng is given to the crown prince of Xianle as a concubine with the job of seducing him in order to spy on him for the neighboring kingdom of Yong'an, but when real feelings get involved things get ...complicated

Summary
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng lost, in the end. They lost, and then they were sealed, one room away from each other, separated by a curtained window through which each can hear the other scream.
When Mt. Tonglu opens again, Hua Cheng--distorted, twisted, and broken by Xie Lian's suffering--is unleashed upon the chained Xie Lian in a last ditch effort to break the stubborn prince. Surely having his last believer, now a monster, rape the cultivation out of him will be enough to shatter Xie Lian's faith in humanity, won't it?

The first thing he noticed inside the dream was that he was warm. Not because of the blanket, but something else. In a way it alarmed him, so his breath hitched. His body couldn't help but recoiled in a way that showed discomfort despite the lack of alarm he felt. He hadn't had physical contact for years- but he would still know how it felt no matter how much time passed.
The touch did not insist. It let go of him, and in the same, dark dream of his- he heard a voice speaking to him. Quiet. Gentle.
"Shh.. What's wrong?" A male voice. Honeyed. Sweet.
He was curious. Who was this?
".. Who..?"
The touch returned. A hand grasped him delicately, and his knuckles were kissed while his muscles tensed. The affection in the gesture was undeniable. In the back of his mind he thought that he had wasted too much time watching romance movies. So frequently that it came to haunt him in his dreams.
OR
Hua Cheng was approached by a man in the dark of his dreams. He decided to make him his muse.
