Or more like, what he didn’t do, and what he didn’t do was warn Yuuta about the absolute mess he was getting himself in by getting involved with Toge. He didn’t know that he was signing up for panic attacks and trauma and nightmares and sometimes, the inability to speak, no matter how much he wanted to, for months at a time.
He curled into himself, letting the tea Yuuta made him go cold.

Sure, Katara and Aang had been excited about it, had walked back to have their palms read with a pep in their step, but Sokka didn’t believe in it before, and he really didn’t believe in it now. She was a scam artist, a fraud, and now the three of them had fallen prey to her little con.
