Summary
It is an undisputed fact that being a male honeypot is the most deadly shinobi position and thus the most guarded secret. Very few knew about Umino Iruka’s second job under T&I as a honeypot spy. Hatake Kakashi was one of those few. Over the years they became touchstones for one another after tough missions, the person they go to be themselves again, or be the version of themselves they hope to be.
On this mission, Iruka is taken captive by his target, and though it isn’t ideal, Iruka believes he can complete his mission. His Konoha contact, Kakashi, is reasonably concerned.
