Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!

A feather had come loose in Osamu's hand somewhere in the middle of it all, black, smooth and still warm. Before Osamu could set it aside, Yuma plucked it gently from his fingers and tucked it into the collar of Osamu's shirt. A small, pleased chirp slipping out after, not for any reason he could have explained, just because something in him wanted a piece of himself resting against this particular person, like the way passerines shed their most important feathers in the nest they always meant to come back to.

Teru reluctantly separates them and it takes Mob’s groggy mind a few seconds to remember it’s not socially acceptable to half sit on the lap of a boy who doesn’t know he’s your future husband yet.
Mob moves back while watching Teru’s face carefully, looking for any sign, any shift of expression that would indicate he’s developed feelings for him. To Mob’s consternation, Teru’s face is the same as always with his affectionate friendly smile and flushed red cheeks.Hurry up and fall in love with me, Mob begs in his head.
