Summary
[F#1 Daughter] Caitlyn Kiramman set out to investigate a missing child case. Councillor Kiramman reached out for help. The aid came in the shape of two sisters, Councillor Vander’s goddaughters.
[F#2 Appetite] The City of Progress was still recovering from the revelations succeeding the Disappearances of the Daughters when the remains of two males were discovered, sacked, and abandoned in one of the city's sewers. The unclaimed bones were missing some phalanges, and the one that was claimed his head.
[F#3 Gems] The sole survivor of [Daughter] was in peril once more; the suspect later turned victim, leading to an ill-timed imprisonment. Hands bound and powerless, Vi had to make an impossible decision and faced its consequences to unravel a scheme that had been thirteen years in planning. The trap's door was closing, and the trap itself had been built on crushing truths.

Summary
Vi shook her head as she scrolled, trying to clear the sting of the loss and the twisting, heated memory of Caitlyn’s form against her rattling around in her brain.
It didn’t work.
It never worked.
Vi still remembered their first fight clearly, even years later.
The image of Caitlyn walking into the ring was still fresh in her mind: the shocking blue of her eyes sparking under the bright lights, her body slender, but muscled, her angular face stoic and focused, her mouth a harsh line across her face.
Vi had been worried she was going to snap her in half.
She scoffed as she remembered just how fucking wrong she’d been.
Caitlyn had wiped the floor with her. She’d had to work for it - a change from her other fights, Vi found out later - but she had.
After that, her training regimen was pretty much exclusively focused on beating Caitlyn.
She hated losing.
