Summary
Monarch is dead. But Paris is far from safe.
A new threat, a shadowy figure calling themselves Kunlun Glass, has seized control of the city's criminal underworld. Having been tasked with cracking the three-year-old case, Damian Wayne, the son of the World’s Greatest Detective, doesn't realize that he is looking for a single reflection when he should be looking at a shattered mirror of many faces.
To catch a cabal that hides in plain sight, he must remember the oldest rule of the puzzle: Read the pattern like a mirror, backward.
But he's distracted by a cold case of his own. The disappearance of his childhood friend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Marinette vanished without a trace, leaving behind a puzzle that defies all logic. And every answer Damian uncovers only serves to rewrite the question.
How does a normal girl vanish completely? Why does every lead point to the dictatorial Mayor, Noe Luxus? And what is the meaning of the bright red light haunting Damian’s dreams?
To find the truth, Damian will have to look beyond the shadows of Paris even as he prepares to take his own first steps into adulthood.

Summary
Marinette isn't 5,000 years old. That would be silly, of course. It was other people who carried the Ladybug miraculous before her, and they were the ones we saw in ancient texts. But what if they weren't?
The Mage who crafted the miraculous started so well, but in the end, he made one mistake with the Bunny Miraculous, causing a chain reaction across time and space. It pulled miraculous holders from various times in history back to the beginning. Now, Marinette has to deal with a ragtag group of holders from multiple places and times as they try to figure out how to get back to their times.
This is a duology, and can be read either simultaneously or one after another. This is Marinette's POV.
