She is a social pariah due to this, only having Yoda and Qui-Gon to talk to. When Qui-Gon chooses Obi-Wan Kenobi to be his Padawan, she finds in him something she never thought she was looking for.

Amanda C. Kirk is the captain of the "USS Kelvin-A", and bonded to her chief communications officer, Suran of Vulcan. She is the infamous daughter of Spock and Joan Talia Kirk.
But then she and her crew are pulled into an alternate timeline where her mother was born James Tiberius Kirk, and Vulcan was indeed destroyed in the attack by Nero. She must decide whether to preserve the sanctity of this timeline without much interference, or give this universe a chance to have someone like her leading the helm of the next generation.

Two years ago, archaeologists excavated the lost tomb of Ahkmenrah, a pharaoh from the twenty-fourth dynasty of Egypt, just before the Late Period began. It was only just now allowed to tour the world, with its latest stop in London.
