   Summary

   Jeremiah Evans sacrificed everything he could under a late-stage fascist dystopia to begin his filmmaking dreams, only for the reality of that nightmare to come crashing down. Celine Phorbia, First Bloom, dedicated her waking existence towards proving herself "useful" to a post-scarcity society with seemingly every need already accounted for, only for her self-imposed expectations to bring her to her breaking point.

   With no other choice, the two strike up an unexpected wardship with the explicit goal of NOT ending up as a pet and owner. Through the support and care of each other, perhaps they can prove the Compact wrong and end their shared time as better, independent organisms.
