Summary
Darrell was bored. She’d been bored all day. Being stuck in the San was always a bore, but being immobile 2 weeks straight was too much. Blast! If only she hadn’t taken Ron’s bicycle. It was for a good cause, finding Felicity after that race was important, Darrell couldn’t deny, but she should have known better than to ride a bike down the uneven stream path, she was asking for trouble.

The bus rounded the corner of the lane and she felt a hand grab her shoulder. The hand pushed her into the seat she had been kneeling on and revealed itself to be Sally, Darrell’s closest friend.
