Summary
"Jackson Healy always believed in the usefulness of first impressions, because he firmly subscribed to the idea that who you saw for the first time was pretty indicative of someone’s personality; that being said, he hoped that his new roommate, Holland March, would forgive and forget the whole 'I backed my car into you when I was moving in and broke your arm' first meeting. "
ORJackson Healy is a journalism grad student and fresh to LA. His new roommate, Holland March, is a law student who puts the "hot" in hot mess. It's hard enough starting over, being a full time student, and navigating a new city but realizing some new truths about himself and how he views this weird, neurotic, drunken roommate might be Jackson's biggest obstacles yet.

Summary
Six months after the events of The Nice Guys, life's going pretty smoothly for both Holland March and Jackson Healy. Going to work, solving cases, pissing a lot of people off, but hey, no one got hurt.
Until one night, Healy drives March home. The sweet, undeniable tension between them finally pops.
"I said I'm serious 'bout takin' you to dinner." Healy says. "You got anywhere you wanna go?"
March exhales. He takes a step back. Looks around, then back at Healy. He smiles.
"Heyyy, aren't you that diner guy?"
