Summary
Goro Takemura is a man of honor, a modern corporate samurai and devoted bodyguard. Vee is a streetwise mercenary, a thief with an attitude.
Their vastly different worlds collide, and they're suddenly compelled into forming an unlikely alliance. Never mind just falling in love - first, they need to learn how to work together, and to get along. And the snippy specter of a rebellious rockerboy doesn't make it any easier. Especially when events happen that force the three of them into very close proximity, 24/7.
What could possibly go wrong when a grumpy ronin, a sarcastic merc, and her imaginary friend all drive each other mad?
There are no happy endings in Night City... or so the saying goes. The odds may be against them, but they might just make it, if they're willing to gamble it all.

Lae'zel and Shadowheart are notorious in their party for two things - being both exceptionally good at their roles, and being, at all times, a hair-breadth from killing one another.
Or so they would have their party think.

”I’ve met a lot of D&D players, all sorts of them. Including a lot who bail after a session or two.”
“And you don’t think I’m gonna be one of them?”
”No, I don’t. You don’t have to be good at math for this game, Vi. You just have to love your character enough to keep them alive, to follow them through their story.”
When Vi still doesn’t have friends or a hobby six months after getting out of prison, she’s roped into joining her sister’s D&D campaign run by dungeon master Caitlyn Kiramman.

Summary
There was once a woman who rode to battle seeking death; there was once a man who survived a life of war and bade her live. And suddenly her winter passed, and the sun shone on her...
But the sun continues its journey, and shadows and winter both come again in turn. It is the way of things.
A study on Éowyn and Faramir in the period of time between their trothplighting at the funeral of Théoden and their departure for Ithilien, with a focus on how depression and grief aren't simple, linear things, and how a place can be wondrous and terrible and home and prison all at once.

In Amber, love rarely comes without a cost. Some feelings are acted upon. Others are simply used. And some are quietly accepted as all one is ever allowed to have.

What if Arcane was a lesbian meet cute instead of a heartbreaking start of darkness?
Well, it'd probably be trite nonsense compared to the goddam masterpiece we got, but at least they'd be happy.
