Summary
Gods can tell when something supernatural is near. It is palpable, an almost solid weight in the atmosphere. When nearing Olympus, the thin mountain air becomes thick and heavy with divinity, pouring out over every gilded surface, glinting in the sunlight. Hermes knows what power feels like unencumbered and free flowing. How it sparks out of the fingertips of heroes, and settles softly like dewdrops in the hair of nymphs.
This? This was different.

Dans un monde où les dieux eux-mêmes peuvent se briser, Apollon, autrefois radieux maître du soleil et des arts, s’efface du monde après l'infinie souffrance ayant ravagé son cœur : la tragédie d'Asclepios. L'éternel devient l'errant sans nom, le père oublié, le fils renié, mais reste le frère aimé.
Sur cette route de reconstruction, c’est Hermès, dieu messager et amant insaisissable, qui revient à lui, défiant les lois célestes pour raviver la flamme de l’amour. Apollon, hanté par les fantômes de son passé, lutte pour s’ouvrir. Hermès, libre mais sincère, l’enveloppe de patience et de passion.
À travers l'humilité et le deuil, à travers l'union sensuelle et sacrée, métaphore du divin qui guérit, Apollon se retrouve et se reconstruit dans sa capacité à aimer sans crainte. Et dans cet amour qui embrase sans consumer, ils trouvent enfin l’équilibre : entre feu et vent, entre errance et ancrage, entre solitude et union.

Hermes finally goes to Apollo for some healing for the injury to his intimate places. And gets it. Through sex. Because that is how Apollo heals. At least, it's how he heals Hermes when Hermes comes to him with wounds of a sexual nature. No rape in this story, but it still refers to past rape and abuse. Apollo is healing actual wounds, after all.
