Instead, Uther magically imprisons him and the remaining dragons at the Dragon's Keep. Now, almost twenty years later, prince Arthur regualary comes to check on him. Things change, when he brings a certain manservant with him.

The Soldier doesn’t know where the boy came from. He hears rumors. Gotham and New York and Hell. They call him the Winter Knight, but they do it with thin crooked smiles, like they’re laughing at a joke even they know isn’t particularly funny. The boy responds as well to Winter Knight as he responds to anything.
He is, in some respects, a perfect soldier.
