Zandik was not here, yet in every corner of the apartment, the image of him persisted. Feofan could see him sprawled on the couch, dead to the world with a book over his face, accompanied by illegible scrawl, research materials, and questionable diagrams on the coffee table. Six empty white mugs of coffee would sit over the stacks of loose paper, serving as paperweight.

Omega—well, he supposes it may as well be Dottore now, there is only one Doctor left, after all—has seemingly submitted to his fate, for once having no objections to Pantalone's unusual insistence on cuddling. He suspects Dottore is a bit unsure of where to go from here too, and simply thinks that this will be a suitable way to waste time. Or, he's suddenly grown a heart and decided to feel genuine pity for Pantalone (he almost laughs at the thought. The Segments aren't capable of development.)
