    “Loneliness used to be comforting, even with the slight sliver of dread within him—but now it felt suffocating. He’s been receiving so much warmth lately, warmth that contrasted overwhelmingly with his eventual loneliness.
    The people close to him were like sunshine, and their light radiated off of them. When they were around him, Megumi could bask in their warmth and experience it as well. However, once he was alone, that warmth disappeared because he himself didn’t carry it.
    He wondered what it felt like to be able to carry that light for himself, or how much more his loved ones could carry without him.”
