Summary
Illustration of a scene from Daisies_and_Briars's story treat an opportunity like it's treating you
Cranberry, trots a few paces over to Buck, sits in front of him, ears perked and tail wagging, waiting.
“Hi, there,” Buck mumbles.
She nudges her head forward onto his lap, worming her nose under his hand, intent on receiving attention. Buck moves his hand to scratch the side of her jaw. She squints her big, brown eyes contentedly. Buck likes the way her silky fur feels under the calloused skin of his hands. The full weight of her head rests on Buck’s thigh, and something about it feels grounding.
“You’re a sweet girl, aren’t you?” He whispers to Cranberry.
In response, Cranberry’s tail picks up speed.

Summary
Illustration of a scene from near the end of fastcardotmp3's story (all my friends are) stepping stones, the next to last work in the (all my friends) series. Summary for the story that inspired this artwork:
“You are so good and this is all so much more than I was ever supposed to get after Miles died, you know? And it’s like my body has been— been waiting for, um, it’s like it’s been preparing to feel—"
“You’ve been grieving,” Eddie breathes, “before there’s even anything to grieve.”
A second love slow-burn, season 7 style.

Summary
The late afternoon light filters through the curtains giving the scene an almost ethereal glow, and Eddie has the thought that if he could bottle this moment to live in forever, he would. He can’t imagine being any more content than he is right now.

Summary
Hydra fell sooner than in the other timeline. Tony Stark has received a golden apple. So many data points have changed. From this point forward the territory is even more uncertain as the data on the drive from The Other Steve is becoming less and less accurate to their own world.
Hopefully that means a better future for them all, but only time will tell as this timeline forges their own road. And sometimes moving forward requires dealing with what you've tried to leave behind.Series

Summary
On Titan, Stephen Strange said in 14,000,605 futures he could find only one in which they won, but what if he had looked from further back? How many other opportunities were there to change the course of history that might have been missed, and how much more might be changed with a bit of forewarning? Tony and Loki both gave their lives to defeat Thanos in the main timeline, perhaps this is the one where they get their happy ending. Only time will tell.

Thanos took a wrong turn on the way to Xandar by Corcalamus, Dracavia

Summary
A few months after seeing Infinity War we got to chatting about what a missed opportunity we thought it was that The Statesman never made it to Earth, and we never got to see what might have happened with Loki being in tow. Of course, being FrostIron shippers, we also felt cheated out of a chance to see our two favourite sass-masters interacting again in a way that didn't include defenestration. And from that conversation, this story and its sequel were born. Thanos is still out there at the start of this, but he's further away, and both the Aesir and Earth have more time to prepare for his arrival.

The Time Heist didn't go quite as planned, and reality split where the Avengers changed things they didn't mean to. Perhaps in one of those realities a few more happy endings might be found.

Bookmarker's Notes
Doesn’t have any of the ABO pack/mating bond/nesting tropes. The ABO mainly serves to provide a universe where unplanned pregnancy and gender discrimination can be explored without fully gender-bending Buck.
The narrative gives both the Diaz and Buckley parents a route to redemption, while still acknowledging their problematic traits in a way canon likes to often ignore for convenience. -

Summary
Eddie is working hard on figuring himself out, getting a life, and also reestablishing contact with Buck after worrying about them drifting apart and their friendship changing. Realizing that sometimes people misunderstand his relationship with Buck should not be the shock it is. Also, if Chris could stop launching verbal sneak attacks on him, he'd appreciate it.
Meanwhile, Buck's learning to parent a toddler while not at all being insecure about something said by one Margaret Buckley. He's just studiously avoiding the word 'Parent' like the plague, and otherwise doing his damn best.
or
If Buck had a nickel for every time someone left him their kid in their will without his knowledge—well, he’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice now.

Summary
The realization goes something like this, as Eddie sits under a flapping rainbow pride flag in the bay of the firehouse and studies its colors.
Red, like his cheeks when Buck smiles at him.
Orange, like the juice he wishes he'd started drinking years ago.
Yellow, like the color of Shannon's dress the day she died.
Green, like the jealousy that strangles him when he thinks about losing Buck.
Blue, like the color of the most beautiful eyes he knows.
Violet, like the bruise blooming on Buck's left cheekbone. Right where Eddie wants to place his lips.
And Eddie thinks, for the first time, that maybe he feels something approaching pride, or something adjacent to it at least, for himself.
Or; In one Pride Month, Eddie meets an old friend, learns about himself, comes out to people who love him and learns to be proud (in roughly that order).

Summary
Adriana Diaz is 24, fresh out of college and armed with little more than a degree, no plan to use it, a recently-imploded social life, and a bank account hovering dangerously close to overdraft. She scrolls through an embarrassingly sparse message history to find a text from 2019, and mouths a quiet thanks to the cloud for saving it. She messily scribbles the address '4995 South Bedford Street' onto a post-it, recalling a house she last saw for her sister-in-law’s funeral. She guesses that she's no longer welcome in Houston, after her graduation ceremony and the cold shoulders that came with it. El Paso certainly has nothing to offer beyond disappointed sighs and disapproving glares from her parents. And so she gets in her tiny, wheezing silver Nissan and heads west toward Los Angeles.
Or; Adriana Diaz arrives at Eddie's door one summer afternoon and finds her brother co-parenting two children with his best friend. She flounders around in search of purpose, friends, and maybe some way to save her brother from his own obliviousness.

Summary
He’s born as Evan Buckley to parents who don’t want him.
Evan means spare parts. Evan means not good enough. Evan means disappointment and failure, you’re reckless, and you’re too much. Forgotten birthdays and football games.
Under a bright blue sky, he’s reborn as Buck.
“‘Cause you’re fast and you’re strong and you’re stubborn as hell,” says another Evan, clapping him on the back.
“Yeah, and you kinda get that deer in the headlights look when you get confused,” the third Evan ribs.
And Evan - Buck - is fine with that.
Buck feels like him. He tries it on. He likes it.

Or - Theo draws a picture of his family at preschool and he’s very proud of it. Eddie is, too. But Buck and Chris? They’re very much bothered and bewildered.
