Summary
Buck flicked open his chat with Tommy. 'I just had the strangest end to my date.'
It wasn't long before Tommy replied, 'Uh oh, that's what, 0 for 8 now?'
‘7... and that is so not the point,' Buck texted him, then he added, 'She said I wasn’t emotionally available, and I should work that out before I went on anymore dates.’
There wasn’t any sign of a reply for a few minutes before Tommy finally said, ‘Be honest with yourself, you know who it is.’
Or
Buck and Tommy amicably break up and Buck wants to find his ‘happily ever after’, but it takes him a while to figure out he’s already found it.

Summary
Hydra fell sooner than in the other timeline. Tony Stark has received a golden apple. So many data points have changed. From this point forward the territory is even more uncertain as the data on the drive from The Other Steve is becoming less and less accurate to their own world.
Hopefully that means a better future for them all, but only time will tell as this timeline forges their own road. And sometimes moving forward requires dealing with what you've tried to leave behind.Series

Summary
On Titan, Stephen Strange said in 14,000,605 futures he could find only one in which they won, but what if he had looked from further back? How many other opportunities were there to change the course of history that might have been missed, and how much more might be changed with a bit of forewarning? Tony and Loki both gave their lives to defeat Thanos in the main timeline, perhaps this is the one where they get their happy ending. Only time will tell.

“You know… I think it’s starting to sink in…”
"That we're getting married?" Tony perched on the arm of the couch beside Loki.
“Not quite,” he said thoughtfully and looked up at him. “That I get to keep you.”

Thanos took a wrong turn on the way to Xandar by Corcalamus, Dracavia
Fandom: Iron Man (Movies), Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Avengers (Marvel Movies), Thor (Movies)

Summary
A few months after seeing Infinity War we got to chatting about what a missed opportunity we thought it was that The Statesman never made it to Earth, and we never got to see what might have happened with Loki being in tow. Of course, being FrostIron shippers, we also felt cheated out of a chance to see our two favourite sass-masters interacting again in a way that didn't include defenestration. And from that conversation, this story and its sequel were born. Thanos is still out there at the start of this, but he's further away, and both the Aesir and Earth have more time to prepare for his arrival.

Summary
“How did you get home from the hospital?”
“Took an uber.”
“Does Maddie know?” Silence. “Does anyone?” More silence. More of Buck refusing to meet his gaze, staring at the door like he thought he could entice Eddie to leave by the power of suggestion. Well, good fucking luck, Eddie thought. Wild horses, and all that. “Why didn’t you call anyone?” he demanded. “Why didn’t you call me?”
“I did!” Buck snarled. The momentum of his indignation carried him into a sitting position, and Eddie could see him flinch with the pain of it. His unnaturally stoic front was gone, and something raw and wrenching took its place; it occurred to Eddie that he’d never heard Buck raise his voice before. “I did call you, Eddie! As I was bleeding out on my kitchen floor. You. Didn’t. Answer.”
---
The squatter in Buck's attic has a knife. Buck has a bit of a breakdown. Eddie has a plan to make everything right.

“Is it fucked up if I say I hate your parents?”
Eddie huffs, as close to a laugh as he can get with how drained he feels right now.
“I mean, don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate their kid-making ability. They made one of my favorite people, and you made my actual favorite person, but-“ Buck shrugs, “Still hate them on principle for everything else besides that.”
At his words, Eddie feels a sharp tug in his chest, his heart leaping like it’s trying to reach LA and nestle beside Buck’s.

Summary
“So where do you want to start?” asks Frank, and god, even the simplest questions are tough. How to even begin explaining the details of how you methodically destroyed every aspect of your own life. How do you explain chasing your own son out of the state? How do you explain burning your life down in pursuit of the ghost of your late wife?
“Buck got a boyfriend,” Eddie hears himself say, and then pauses, frowning in confusion at himself. “That’s not actually– I didn’t–” He lets himself take a breath under the heavy weight of Frank’s unwavering gaze, “It actually started with Pepa.”

While Chris is in El Paso, it’s Eddie’s summer of Realizing Things, such as comphet, what Buck means to him, and how to let himself be happy.

Bookmarker's Notes
It doesn’t take long for Buck to be cleared to leave. He’s given antibiotics for the water he swallowed, a handful of bandages to cover shallow wounds, and instructions to take it easy. Horror clenches in his stomach. Eddie is gone and he gets off with Advil and a nap.
