It’s a Tuesday (because why wouldn’t it be, Troublesome Tuesdays are only outpaced by Weird Shit Wednesdays, as if the crazies like to take weekends off to plan) when a call comes into the Daily Planet’s hotline. She’s handed the slip after lunch. (Later, she’ll wonder why she got the call and not Clark. It’s one of the many things she never really gets an answer for.)

Danny needs a place to lay low. He thought he'd find peace in the Infinite Realms but everyone is trying to pick a fight with him! Leave this Halfa alone!
Clockwork has an idea that leads to Danny striking a deal with Lady Gotham. In exchange for sanctuary, Danny will filter her corrupted ectoplasm. She tells him that if he's in any danger, then Danny may go to her Knights. But Danny's not the type of person to go asking others for help. Especially if he thinks he can handle it by himself.What Danny doesn't know is that the Knights of Gotham are very interested in meeting this new Meta that keeps popping up. He doesn't know that Lady Gotham is very invested in him meeting her Knights. Danny doesn't know that he's caught the eye of a certain undead Knight.
Danny is not ready for this new stage of his life, but he's going to commit to being a True Gothamite!

Danny leaves behind his life in Amity, looking for a place to hide away from those that hunt him. He doesn't expect to find another siren in Gotham Bay, or for that siren to be the sexiest fish he's ever laid eyes on.
Thankfully, shark siren Jason is just as enthralled with the sweet little eel siren in his territory, and is more than ready to tear apart the hunters that chase him.
