Cole tried not to wring his hands together as he waited. Every one of his senses was on high alert. His suit and collared shirt felt itchy, his hair stood on end from the cool breeze through the windows, and his own breathing was much too loud. There were dry pieces of vines in his shoes, poking at him. The aftermath of fighting plant zombies was not something he ever wanted to repeat. He also did not want to repeat being an entire day late to his girlfriend's birthday party... not that he'd had any power over either part of the situation.
