Beca is spending her Christmas break for the first time with Chloe and her family during Senior year, and they're doing some last-minute holiday shopping. Beca has been harboring a secret crush on her best friend for a little while now, having amicably separated from Jesse, and wonders if she has been given the ideal opportunity to elevate their relationship to the next level. Beca doesn't expect their trip to the mall to be particularly eventful, especially because of her strong dislike of crowds. However, when the two of them come face-to-face with a bully from Chloe's childhood, Chloe asks Beca to do her a favor.

Summary
