Summary
Being Chief of Staff to Director of Defense Kate Laswell, you've had your fair share of headaches. But after an incident that leaves your paranoid boss on edge, your biggest headache is currently one Captain John Price. You can't wait for the defense hearing to be over so you can return to your regularly scheduled, bodyguard-less work.
But the corruption and conspiracy you and Kate are investigating runs deep, and as the shadowy figures of D.C. loom larger and more threatening, John Price may be the only person you can really trust.

Summary
John Price—retired army captain and stern, steady ranch owner—takes a chance on you, the city girl who impulsively quit her soul-sucking office job and wound up on his doorstep.
You’re a tough kid. A hard worker. And you’re determined to prove yourself useful.
Even if, deep down, you’re a bit of a crybaby.
(Turns out John has a soft spot for that sort of thing.)

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.
