Everything went downhill ever since Wise went missing, or rather was taken. Because of this, Belle won't have the help of prestigious groups such as Section 6, Obol Squad, and the Criminal Investigations Special Response Team of Pubsec, or even Fairy, which was Wise's. The former second assistant is forced to make morally questionable decisions in hopes that it will get her brother back. Meanwhile, hidden forces plot their next moves as the fate of the Phaethon siblings and possibly New Eridu is at stake.
