Qifrey’s hand disappears from his, leaving the skin of his hand bereft of the comfort he had settled into. It settles against his cheek, lifting his eyes up from where they had found themselves staring at the way Qifrey’s foot rested against his shin — still with some tension, a lingering fear they had yet to fully overcome, but still a casual touch, initiated by him rather than pulling away as though his flesh had been singed — to the reassurance of his kind features.
“You don’t have to worry, Olly,” Qifrey assures, lifting his other hand to kiss his knuckles. “I’ll be fine, I promise.”
Now that he's able to live freely, Qifrey has a request to make.

Summary
Utowin had imagined a chase when he finally reunited with Easthies. It was embarrassing to admit that he had been a large part of why Utowin decided to pursue a career with the knights so fervently, but there he was, chasing after him like a puppy when they finally met again, red cloaks tying their fates together.
Easthies was a withdrawn type of person, at least in terms of social situations. He neglected to join the other young knights on nights out, opting to burn the midnight oil. Utowin had been disappointed at first, though it hadn't deterred him. Those who knew of his infatuation would cringe as he daydreamed, thinking about the Wises apprentice like a rabbit to be chased. ‘Hard to get?’ His friends would look at him with exasperation, waving their hands as if to dismiss a wretched illusion ‘More like hard to like. Get better taste, man..’.
He would ignore it, of course. They just didn't understand, that was all.
Utowin chases Easthies expecting a drawn out dance. He does not find this to be the case.
