Summary
Asao means “essence; Spirit; Soul; Heart; Core of life”. The Asao title means never-ending love between two people which can survive time and space. If someone is giving the title of Asao there is a belief they would be reborn and reunited in the next life. It is a sacred term that both parties agree on. What happens if someone is bestowed the title of Asao against both parties wishes? If someone perverts the Asao title?
Cassius Phoenix Aurelius is the only son of the King of the South Luciano Aurelius. Osiris Carmenere Ambrose is the crown prince to the Baileus of the country, and next to inherit the throne. At birth Cassius was given the title “Asao to the crown prince”. It just so happened that the Phoenix family caused the end of the world and deemed an enemy of the monarch. Why is this happening? Why is the monarch allowing this to happen? Cassius was brought to the palace at age 10. Both agree they would never love, less like, each other, and both would very much like to kill the other.
The story follows the two as they grow up and the political entanglement they both fall victim to.
At least that was what was supposed to happen. Only the one being sent in “Cassius’” place wasn’t Cassius at all.

But Theodore, he didn't mind, as long as he was passionate about what he was doing.
Then, there was Terrance Vale: Attorney. Successful in the states, rich—cold and uncannily calculated. The press had given him the name »Most Handsome Man in Manhattan«, and he had it all: Not only his looks. When he spoke? It was unbelievable. Rumour has it, he had a golden tongue; his manner of speaking was out of this world, as if he'd been born to be an attorney. Always professional, always choosing his words with precision. He never left the courtroom, not really. Many even found it embarrassing to talk to him—because Terrance Vale overpowered everyone by solely speaking.
