Summary
Eddie wakes up, still feeling a little tired. He doesn’t even remember falling asleep. He doesn’t even remember going home. The last thing he remembers is coming to Buck’s house, waiting for his shift to end so he could go home, and now he’s waking up.
Oh no.
Eddie takes in his surroundings. This isn’t his room. This is Buck’s room.
Shit.
He fell asleep in Buck’s room, in his bed.
Eddie looks down, he has Buck’s hoodie on, and there’s an arm thrown around his waist. Eddie’s heart drops. He realizes that there’s also warmth throughout his back.
Or
When Buck is on shift without Eddie, Eddie sometimes goes to Buck’s house, waiting for him to come home. He usually leaves before Buck gets back but he ended up falling asleep.

Each second that ticked by had Buck's anxiety spiking, his stomach twisting up and his chest growing tighter and tighter.
Then, Eddie cleared his throat.

The sound startled Buck out of his frozen statuesque state, almost causing him to drop his phone as his shoulders jumped.
“I'm—fuck, I'm horny, Buck.” He finally whispered out.
Buck's breath shot out of his chest. Jesus, Eddie just fucking—God, he had just called Buck and—

Tommy finds a “couple’s test” online, and asks Buck to call Eddie up and tell him that he was horny. Eddie hangs up, and Buck thinks that’s the end of it. Until he calls back.

“I’m sorry it didn’t work out,” Eddie says, softer.
This time, Buck elbows him, grinning when Eddie looks back up at him. “You are not,” Buck says.
“What? No. I am sorry for you that it didn’t work out. I know you’re looking for it.” He doesn’t look at him. “I’m just hungry,” he says primly.
“Oh, well, we can’t have you getting hangry,” Buck says dryly. He rests a hand on Eddie’s lower back as they head for the checkout, a pressure Eddie feels as surely as his own heartbeat. Buck just does that sometimes, casually steering him where he needs to go. The thoughtless gesture of any alpha around an omega. A younger Eddie, still all teeth and seethe over the unfairness of life giving him an extra hole between his legs, would have bristled. Now he just lets him. He always misses it when Buck takes his hand away, his back cold these past six months. The warmth is back where it belongs, and it makes his whole spine ripple. He matches his pace so Buck doesn’t drop his hand, hurrying a little on his shorter legs.

Summary
Six months have gone by since Chris left for El Paso. Eddie hasn't been able to talk to his son without his parents interfering with their reconciliation. Buck, now dating Eddie, has to fight against his sister and Chimney's constant interference in his life, romantic and career-wise, needing to find a way to stop them from bringing in his parents to cause trouble for the new couple. Tommy, having lost someone he had feelings for and never got a chance to act on, was with his friends when something amazing happened. Now, back in the past, they all have something that they want to correct.
