They go to Peter’s quote-unquote apartment. Ned’s brain is running on overdrive trying to put together all of the pieces. More and more keeps coming back, like that time he saved Peter from one of Toomes’ men in the school parking lot (which was so cool) and that time they stayed up until four A.M. building an AT-AT Lego kit even though they had a Spanish quiz the next morning, and the day they met—the first day of freshman year, second period History class, when they’d happened to sit next to each other and notice that they both had the same Lembas bread leaf-style pencil pouch. Peter had made a joke about how he always chewed on his erasers; one small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man! he’d said, and Ned had laughed, and that had been that.

Summary
Ever since the events of Brand New Day, Peter has found it easier to make time for normal guy stuff. Like going on blind dates his amnesiac best friend sets up for him, struggling to pay rent on his superhero HQ, and fighting physically and mentally enhanced opponents who always seem to be getting stronger.
When a new villain vows to kill Spider-Man with his bare hands, Peter assumes it's more of the same old, same old. However, between a new substance making his opponents power up an alarming amount, a new burglar finding a way to steal exactly what Peter needs most, and all of his enemies becoming best friends and teaming up, Spider-Man has to figure out how to make it through a day.
