Retired bookshop owner Aziraphale Fell doesn’t hesitate when his friend, Anathema Device, needs someone to look after her shop while she visits friends and family in the US.
After all, how hard can it be to look after a small flower shop in Tadfield? Especially during November, when there’s hardly any business.
Turns out he’s right about that. Minding ‘Say it with flowers’ is not that difficult; especially if you ‘forget’ that he nearly kills a few rubber trees during the first week.
The difficult part is not being too distracted by the handsome retired investment banker who one day barges through the doors in search of an emergency snake plant.

Aziraphale was determined to make Crowley regret underestimating the task.For his part, Crowley could hardly believe his good luck: some of the smartest people he'd ever met were paying him to think about Bowie. It was like a dream come true. If only he didn't have to work closely with the posh bastard who seemed to need to hold his nose just to be in the same room with him. Crowley was determined to make Aziraphale regret underestimating him.
