    Slowly, Chrollo reaches out to brush a strand of hair from Kurapika's face. He's surprised when Kurapika allows it, rather than slapping the hand away. At this angle, the flowers on Chrollo's wrist are on full display. "Could it really have been anyone else?"

    Kurapika doesn't answer.

    Kurapika and Chrollo are soulmates. They fall for each other in spite of this, not because of it.

It’s about Al—sitting alone in one of his tiny little apartments that only contain the personal items Al can’t dare leave behind—waiting for his return. His slow realisation that Ed isn’t coming back. Roy or Riza coming to deliver the news. Absently, Ed has spent a lot of time wondering whether Roy will be able to face his brother the day he learns that Ed has died for his cause. Roy’s probably thought about it, too.

     

    Or: Roy and Ed are Rebels in a harsh galaxy. This makes some things harder than they should be.
