Summary
Edward Teach is fed up with his job as a concert pianist. He’s over having to play the same classical pieces over and over again to polite applause. When he walks into The Lighthouse, a newly opened queer bar, and spots a grand piano in it, he figures he might have found something new and exciting, and he gladly takes the new job the bar owner, Stede Bonnet, offers him. Maybe this bar (and Stede) can be the way out of his slump?

Stede's father spent the last twenty years of his life isolated in a (potentially haunted) house, refusing to see his family. When he dies, Stede feels responsible for finding answers to the mystery of what spurred his father's strange behavior, hoping that time spent in the house will reveal those secrets. Only, what if it's not the house that's haunted, but rather the wood behind it?
