Summary
After a long and brutal career as Spider-Man, Peter Parker has hit rock bottom. His old universe is gone, his family is gone, and he's abandoned in an alternate timeline where he'd never been born. On the streets and left as a living ghost, he hasn't given up on being Spider-Man. He hasn't given up on other people. He's only given up on himself, and that's still a tragedy. But even at his lowest, he's always what every hero aspires to be. It doesn't hurt that both Dr. Doom and the Incredible Hulk are stuck in the same mess.
A slow burn superhero story about Peter Parker starting from the lowest point I can possibly put him in, and battling his way to the very top. This is going to be a long one, and while it starts off in a sad place, the overall direction will always be to somewhere more positive. There will be setbacks. Not everything will work out. But my promise is that he'll always be in a better place than where he started.

Harry Potter, left alone by his two best friends on the search for Voldemort's soul anchors and then abandoned by his friends due to the losses in the war against the Death Munchers, Harry Potter is alone due to his own inclinations and the pedestal the world has set him on. Thinking Dark thoughts, he finds himself standing in front of the Veil of Death, which comes alive. Out steps the Veil's Master with, after some small talk, an offer that reminds Harry all too much of used broomstick salesmen.
Step forward, and have his memories wiped and his soul returned to the wheel, promised a happy life. Or take on a challenge set by the Powers Eternal, remember his life, and gain a new one elsewhere as part of a loving family.
Turns out, Death was true to his word. And Harry Potter, as a baby, is found and brought into a family that can give him all the family he's ever wanted, and a world in dire need of a new perspective.Pairings:

Summary
Lame name, I know. This is a current patron-only work I am posting here on A03 as a belated Veteran's Day present. My family lost our last veteran this past February and I really wanted to show my appreciation. Anyway, the summary is:
Ranma and the weather never got along but what during their run to the Chinese Coast it was even worse than in canon? What if he, his father, and their pursuer were all forced to seek cover in he same shelter? Female Ranma and Shampoo, forced to put aside their issues, spend several days in a cave, getting to know one another, and even becoming friends (sorta) before his father wakes up and messes everything up.
Later on, Ranma's time in Nerima is influenced by this event more than a bit, and then Shampoo arrives. Shampoo's arrival goes differently, and suddenly Ranma decides that leaving Nerima sounds like a great idea now that he's got a traveling buddy he actually likes. Together the two set out to explore the wider world of martial arts, discovering new techniques, new foes, and a lot of challenges as they go.
Pairing is Ranma/Shampoo with Mai pos.- its up to three chapters, she will join in two or never.

Summary
Harry Potter never had what anyone would term an easy life. Raised to be a selfless martyr, he had survived one war only to paint an even larger target on his back. The problems of the Wizarding World never went away, and seemed to always drag him into them. The Pureblood issue never went away, it was just matched by the ‘New Wizard’ movement, halfbloods and muggleborn creating their own extremists. And most of them wanted a piece of Harry, or felt Harry was the solution to their problems.
And eventually, even the most powerful mage will die. So it was with Harry.
With a life that had long since become a burden Harry lay in Shell Cottage, Bill and Fleur's former home, warded and fideliused, with Fawkes, his sole remaining companion and secret Keeper.
But Harry didn't know he was being watched. It turns out the Hallows really are connected to DEATH, and She has a job to offer him.
Learning some interesting things about his body he never knew (humanity is overrated anyway) and a few minutes of haggling result in Harry, once more in his child’s body, lost, knowing only the name of the planet and the continent he has arrived on: Azeroth, and Kalimdor. “Well, I always did like Indiana Jones movies...”Bookmarked by Fajuf
