Summary
In a world that wants to use and kill you, what does it take to find a man worth living for?
This work assumes that the reader knows canon beat to beat as it focuses on the missing scenes, filling in the gaps, and building new stuff on top of the canon story.

Summary
Chapter 1 is the ARR arc, a sort-of-standalone taste sample of the larger comic. Besides being the foundation for ViviRaha's future chemistry, these 11 episodes showcase the range of topics and emotions in the entire following work: from sweet and silly to angsty and existential. Nothing's ever as simple, everything has multiple facets. Like crystal.

Summary
The Azim Steppe is not known for its kindness. It is a place full of conflict, savagery, and triumph. That may be true even within one's own tribe.
The Iriq are a tribe best known for adopting the sons left behind by the Borlaaq. But what are they to make of a family that fled when an invasion by the Garlean empire seemed eminent? Or of a mother that had never planned to be a part of the tribe? Or a father that is a known coward? Never mind their adult son, who had left with the family before his first memories had formed. This is a story about their struggles.

Summary
She has travelled these paths for some weeks, in addition to studying maps of the area more than once, so it is with some surprise she comes upon a tavern and inn shortly after full dark falls, standing alone along the side of the road, on a stretch that no map had ever shown a settlement that she recalls. The two story shingled building looks weathered though, clearly not new construction, and it fits comfortably among the trees, like it was designed to complement the ancient boles towering over it. A simple sign above the door depicts a crescent moon cradling a spinning wheel, with scattered stars. “Nymeia’s Drift” is barely readable in faint traces of silver paint along the bottom.
