The guy who hates drinking.” His laugh was harsh, humorless. “What’s wrong is I’m a year behind, drowning in assignments and make-up work. At this rate, I won’t even have time for karate anymore —the only thing that actually keeps me sane.”
He took a step closer, voice tightening like a screw. “What’s wrong is my new probation officer’s a SOB who’s making my life hell.”
