What would happen if Patrick Jane and Astrid Logan (OC) from different timelines (2012 and 2013) were transported to London in 2010 alongside the iconic characters from the BBC’s Sherlock series (whose main protagonists are John Watson, Sherlock Holmes, Mrs Hudson, Greg Lestrade and Molly Hopper)?
Faced with the prospect of a CBI consultant (Patrick Jane) and a former doctor (Astrid Logan), they will have to survive not only the legendary duo’s hectic cases, but also find a way to get by in a reality where they have neither acquaintances, money nor belongings.
The story contains no spoilers for the respective series.
Neither of the two characters knows the dynamic duo, making their interactions more interesting and profound.

Summary
Emma Scott is new to the CBI, new to the Special Crimes Unit, and very aware that she’s in over her head.
Her job is simple: handle the press, stay out of the way, and do not get involved in Patrick Jane’s schemes.
So far, she’s learning that none of those things are particularly realistic.
The Special Crimes Unit doesn’t like the press. She keeps getting pulled to crime scenes. And Patrick Jane doesn’t seem especially interested in making her job easier.
Emma’s plan is to keep her distance, do her job well, and stay firmly on the outside of whatever it is Jane does.
It’s a good plan. A safe plan.
It just doesn’t account for Jane.

I don't tend to write soulmate AU's, but I had the idea for this one and while I'm sure it's already been done somewhere in some fandom, I wanted to bring it to life.
Trigger warning there will be a lot of mentions of self harm, scarring, blood, wounds and depression, including other mental illnesses and I probably won't be holding back because I need a vent fic right now. In this world, soulmates are linked by one specific thing; scars.
Some would wake one day to find surgery scars on their body, others would have accidental scarring appear when someone had bumped into something or gotten into an accident. But some found themselves linked to people who took their own pain out on themselves. While it was rare, as people didn't want to upset the person they were pretty much destined to be with in most instances, some simply couldn't stop those thoughts a feelings.
This is the story of Tony Starks soulmate, and how they helped each other heal.
