Marius taps his chin, staring at him intently. "What is it that you wish for, Lestat?” he finally asks. “You want… revenge?”
"I want him dealt with," he instantly spells out, as if talking to a child. "He is your fledgling. Your responsibility. So… deal with him."
"Deal with him," Marius repeats slowly, nodding thoughtfully. "As in...?"
"Oh, spare me," Lestat’s face twists impatiently. "I couldn't care less what you do. As long as he's out of my way. And my fledgling's."

After what he and Louis went through in the hands of Armand, Lestat asks Marius to deal with his fledgling. But what Marius has in mind is far from what Lestat meant. Very, very far.

Summary
Armand has notes for Daniel's documentary on Lestat. He sends him unhinged emails about it. Armand breaks into other people's minds so he can stalk Daniel more efficiently. (I'm trying to channel the pure insanity of Devil's Minion, but also tie in the current season. There will be one chapter per Vampire Lestat episode).
“I drank that disgusting drink so you could taste it,” and he holds out his still-bleeding fingertip. Smiles: small, tentative. “Please?”
Daniel’s crossed the room, and he’s cracked down to his knees which Armand wasn’t expecting (Armand almost calls out: “your knees!” forgetting Dan’s bones are no longer human bones), and he has Armand’s finger in his mouth and he’s sucking. Armand gasps in, horks in the air. Staggers back so he’s got his other hand bracing on the counter.
“How do I- taste?” Armand hisses.
Daniel guides Armand’s knuckle deeper, then pops it out. “Vermouth. No annihilation.”

Summary
It’s the first time Armand feeds from Daniel - the first time from his aged and riddled body, that is. The vampire, surely, will notice the lack of elasticity in Daniel’s skin, how the ugliness of age has changed him. Yet Armand does not let Daniel flee, keeping him anchored by pressing his unoccupied palm to Daniel’s chest, and instead of feeling trapped, Daniel feels secure. Kept, even.
When Armand begins to drink from Daniel, they both moan. Armand takes from him reverently, like Daniel is a feast–ambrosia. And then there’s pressure, the solid weight slotting perfectly into the small of Daniel’s back.
Armand is getting off on this.

Daniel and Armand are fighting, fighting, fighting, both for and against each other. They handle their reunion in different ways, angry and in denial, as in love as they always have been.
