Shadow woke.
Because of course he did.
Joy.
He woke up gagging on water and vomiting up onto the shoreline he’d been unceremoniously deposited onto. A mercy, all things considered, that the water would so gently lay him ashore when it’d so mercilessly bashed him against every rock imaginable beforehand. He could have cried in relief, and if a few salty streaks ran down his cheek despite himself then…then there wasn’t a soul around to tell of his weakness.
Everything still hurt.
Worse, actually, than it did before.
If it were possible.

Shadow would like to rest.

Summary
The shadow moved on instinct, dipping into the darkness and appearing just beside the boy, shouting “Look out!” before his mind could catch up. He shoved the little boy aside, but could not move in time to avoid the ink. It spilled all over him, ice cold and thick, sending a shock straight down his spine before he started shivering. Hard.
Or: Macaque gets hit with a magical substance, and Wukong is the closest person who can help. No, not the ink stuff from s4. It a different kind of stuff >:)

Mori Ougai had worked hard to earn his position as head of the Port Mafia, and he ruled with absolute authority. And, like any other who wielded absolute power, he was not someone to take an affront lightly. He was even less inclined to forgive and forget when the affront was committed by a spandex-clad man who claimed to fight for peace above all else. So, when he found himself dangling by the collar at the hands of Japan’s Number One Idiot during what should have been a routine meeting, he couldn’t help but laugh.

“Query: why does the Terran attempt to protect Megatron?” Soundwave questioned her. “Twitch Malto does not know Megatron. The real Megatron.”
“Because he is Mum’s friend!” Twitch snapped back at the Audiobot. “Because he is my friend! Don’t act like you know him!”
Soundwave was silent for a long moment. He was silent for so long that Twitch began to think he had slipped into some weird stasis but Soundwave responded to her accusation abruptly.
“Soundwave thought he knew Megatron,” he replied and Twitch swore that the Decepticon sounded bitter, hurt even. “Soundwave did not.”

A chance encounter with Soundwave leaves Megatron in a serious condition, his mind shattered and trapped in his past as D16. With Ratchet on Cybertron, his only hope to ever recover is the illusive Knock-Out who disappeared after defecting from the Decepticons years before the war ended. Someone who only Megatron himself could find.
Deep scars begin to be reopened as the consequences of a foolish and rash decision.

Summary
Sonic the Hedgehog has always been free to do as he pleases, and it just so happens that he pleases to help others and put a halt to Eggman's evil schemes. He goes with the flow and does what seems right.
Metal Sonic hasn't known freedom in ages. His code forces him to adhere to strict orders, which he has long since given up on fighting. He is the greatest weapon in Doctor Robotnik's arsenal, and he acts as such.
But when a wish is accidentally made on the seven Chaos Emeralds, these two find themselves in the other's body, leading them down two paths. Sonic fights for his freedom in a body so against it, while Metal adapts to the wherewithal of an organic being. All the while, the two find out more and more about the other, and how they operate.
